How have I not left a review for this location yet?! If you're wondering whether the quality here matches their original Jax location—the answer is a resounding yes! I came last Wednesday for a small birthday dinner with two foodie friends who had never experienced Catullo’s before. Let’s just say, they were blown away—so much so that they were already planning their return visit before we even finished our appetizers. Speaking of ambiance, I love the black-and-white accent wall that was added recently. It adds an elegant, upscale touch that enhances the entire dining experience. What We Had: A bottle of red wine for the table Fried Mozzarella (always fresh, never frozen) One of the appetizer specials: fresh mussels (served with incredible bread that was different from their usual pasta accompaniment—would’ve gladly ordered more just to soak up all the juices but I did not want to fill up on bread) Three entrees (only mine is pictured: the pear pasta with scallops) Three desserts (one shown in photos): the featured sorbet and gelatos. The Service: Our server was attentive, patient, and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations without ever making us feel rushed. It was clear she genuinely cared about our experience. We also had a visit from Mark Catullo which was such a treat. He generously let us try the secret housemade limoncello—an absolute delight! Both he and our server went above and beyond to make the evening feel so special, and I can't thank them enough for their genuine hospitality. Why I Love Catullo’s: Beyond the warm, welcoming staff every visit, what truly sets Catullo’s apart from other Italian spots in Jax is its authenticity. The dishes aren’t drowned in cheese just for the sake of an Instagrammable cheese pull—every ingredient is thoughtfully balanced. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of cheese, but it's done right. If you appreciate top-notch service and high-quality, real Italian food, you must give Catullo’s a try. Just remember: they don’t take reservations, so arrive early, beat the crowd, and savor a truly unrushed dining experience with your loved ones.

5/5! Food and Service are Outstanding. As soon as you finished something they immediately remove from the table, which is so rare to find these days. We tried the Arancini for Appetizer, Soup & Salad then the Oxtail Special & Porcini Mushroom tortelloni. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

We recently moved from the Massachusetts area where we were used to lots of great Italian in Boston, we were SO happy to find Catullos here in Nocatee. The food is so good, the waiter we had was awesome, and this will definitely be our go to for Italian food.

The best Italian place in Jacksonville by far. The experience is a 10/10. The atmosphere gives the small Italian restaurant vibe. The food is amazing, honestly any dish you get is a 10/10. The drinks amazing. And the service is above and beyond. All of the staff that works there- hostesses, bartenders, waiters/waitresses, and the cooks are so nice and professional. We have become regulars here and are always excited to go every week! Definitely try this place out if you haven’t yet!

Hands down the most consistent food in Nocatee. Every visit to Catullo’s is a treat, the service is always impeccable, and the food never misses. The pear fiocchi is truly one-of-a-kind and absolutely mouthwatering. Add in a great wine selection, and you’ve got one of the best dining experiences in the area. Highly recommend!

This was our 1st time here and certainly not the last. We loved how each staff member was excited about the food. When asked they offered suggestions of their favorite dishes. We landed on ravioli, on with shrimp and the other with the braised beef. The desserts were amazing as well. Jimmy was our server after we were seated from the bar. And I'll mention that the bartenders that day were amazing also. Jimmy was exceptional with his knowledge of the menu options and was quiet charming. I feel like we made a new friend. We just wish that there was a little more light. It was a bit difficult to read the menus.
